Dr. Heike Schwesinger founded schwesinger+cie., a firm specializing in the recruitment and assessment of executives and advisory body members for public as well as family owned businesses. She also focuses on attorney positions in law firms as well as in-house at larger corporations. She has successfully completed numerous international searches, especially in the fields of finance, real estate and private equity, and is able to rely on a significant international network of relationships and partners. Heike Schwesinger supports owners of family owned businesses in matters of succession planning, the selection of advisory boards or committees and their recruitment for family office positions. Her expertise in this area reaches from large individual estates to private wealth management at banks and multi family offices.
Before founding schwesinger+cie., Heike Schwesinger spent ten years with large international executive search firms, most recently with Spencer Stuart.
Heike Schwesinger studied law at the Universities of Hamburg and Geneva, completed her postgraduate studies in the The Hague and obtained her doctorate (Dr. iur.) from the University of Hamburg.
She is a member of the board of the Kronberg Academy Foundation and the board of the Rostropovich Cello Foundation.
She co-founded the “Kuratorium Schmetterling” at the department of gynecology at the University Hospital Frankfurt.
Heike is a member of the executive board of FidAR, one of the leading organizations committed to increasing female participation on corporate boards of directors. She is responsible for the group's activities in the Rhine-Main region.
